The National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, Pune (NCRA) of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) (an autonomous institute under the umbrella of the Department of Atomic Energy of the Govt. of India) is an internationally reputed research institute. NCRA-TIFRhas set up two radio telescopes, viz. the Ooty Radio telesscope (ORT) and the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT). Located about 80 KM north of Pune, GMRT is the world's largest radio telescope at metre wavelenghts. NCRA is on the lookout for suitably qualified candidates for its GMRT Observatory:
Engineer -D(Digital): 01 Post UR
Pay: PB-3 + GP Rs. 6600
Qualification:
BE/ B.Tech (Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, Computeres) with more than 60% marks in aggregate.
Familiarity with digital design at an advanced level with good knowledge of PFGAs/ Matlab/ Simulink, VHDL/ Verilog Programming, COmputers and applications.
Age: Below 35 years
Engineer-C (Analog/ Digital/ OF): 03 Posts (01 OBC, 02 UR)
Pay: PB-3 + GP Rs. 5400
Qualification:
BE/ B.Tech (Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, Computers) with 60% marks.
Familiarity with analog, digital electronics, signal processing and communication.
Age: Below 31 years for OBC/ 28 years for UR.
Engineer -C (Servo): 01 Post OBC
Pay: PB-3 + GP Rs. 5400
Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech. (Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Electrical/ E&TC) with 60% marks.
Age: Below 31 years
